Louisville Book Discussion

What:  Free book discussion on “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time”. Moderated by Monarch High School librarian, Beatrice Gerrish.
When: Monday September 24th, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Where: Louisville Public Library, 1st Floor Meeting Room
Who: Anyone interested in talking about the book! No registration required.

Alternative Approaches to Treating Autism; Horses, Music, and More

What: Three licensed therapists from Boulder Psychological Services will be lecturing on alternative treatments options for people with Autism.
When: Thursday September 27th, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Where: Louisville Public Library, 1st Floor Meeting Room
Who: Free and open to the whole family. No registration required.

Stories on Stage

What: Actors will read a series of excerpts from the book, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time”. There will also be a Q&A session after the readings, hosted by library director, Beth Barrett.
When: Friday September 28th, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Where: Louisville Center for the Arts (800 Grant Ave, Louisville, Co)

Superior Book Discussion

What: Panel of therapists, parents and siblings discuss how Autism impacts the family.
When: Wednesday October 3rd,  from  7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Where: Louisville Public Library, 1st Floor Meeting Room.

Lafayette Book Discussion

What: Book discussion on “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time”. Moderated by librarian, Jo McNeal.
When: Thursday October 4th,  from  7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Where: Lafayette Senior Center (103 S. Iowa Ave, Lafayette CO)

BOOK TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT DAY!
Saturday, June 2, 2012

11:45 am, Main & South Streets, Louisville, CO

12:45 pm, Steinbaugh Pavilion, 824 Front St., Louisville, CO

Local dignitaries will announce the highly anticipated, secret book title during Taste of Louisville.  Five lucky attendees of the launch will receive a complimentary copy of the 221-page national bestseller.  Free bookmarks will also be distributed.  Featured on NBC’s Today Show Book Club Selection List, our 2012 book is appropriate for readers from high school age to adult.
